What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

I would suggest being sure that your officiant is flexible in what he/she will offer as a ceremony. It is your day and you should be completely comfortable with the content of your ceremony.

What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A critical piece of information that should be thought out is deciding that you want to get married. Once you have decided to live your lives together as husband and wife, a date/time of your ceremony would be important to know before contacting an officiant.

Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

My laid-back style and approach to officiating will create a low-pressure environment for couples to choose a ceremony that fits their needs. Couples are free to add or subtract anything they like when choosing a ceremony. A lot of planning and coordinating goes into your day; I will do all I can to make your experience with me as smooth and pleasant as it can possibly be.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A question I am frequently asked is what do I wear during the ceremony, which I answer a black suit, white shirt, and matching tie. I am also asked if I have set ceremonies that couples must choose from, the answer is no. Although, I provide many ceremony ideas, couples have the flexibility to choose exactly what they want, that may be parts of one ceremony combined with parts of another ceremony.

Do you have a favorite story from your work?

One of my favorite memories came during a ceremony when the couple was performing their exchange of rings. This particular couple wrote their own words for this part of the ceremony and they were both very emotional when reciting them. It took several attempts for the couple to work through the tears of joy and complete the exchange of rings. It was a very touching show of emotion and love, and not one I will soon forget.

How did you decide to get in your line of work?

I have always enjoyed working with people. After a close friend asked me to officiate his wedding, it only seemed natural to work with other couples as well. I still get excited when meeting with couples to discuss officiating their ceremony, but that excitement is always trumped by the honor of being involved on the day of their ceremony.
